Dandelions are elusive but pretty

In my yard, you see dandelions pop up almost everyday, now! I’m glad we left this weed thrive, because when in bloom it gives these amazing balls of fuzziness and fluff that make you happy every time you look at them. So simple!

Scenes from a bedroom

Since my pregnancy, the room I spend most of my time is my bedroom. This is where I think, I sometimes eat and connect with the world. It’s my comfort room and here I do almost anything! I guess for many people bedroom also serves other purposes than sleep, like office space or studio and so does for me even though I have a dedicated room in the house for that. I’m not one to complaint though! I have happy times here doing my own thing and even if days get rough I look around and see things that I love. Those little knick-knacks like my books and magazines keep me company and inspire me greatly. 

Spring came…

...In and out of the house! The weather has been glorious and when we change time on Sunday I will enjoy the longest days. The air is crisp and makes us feel alive. Nature celebrates this significant period with colors, smells and noises. Funny noises from our cats, trying to mate and happy noises from birds up and around the trees. Even if I feel down, I look at this  metamorphosis and loose myself in it. I get carried away by this change that happens no matter what...and takes the winter away.

Happy Home!

This new week starts with certain accomplishments. Not big ones, just ones that matter to us... The staircase was finally painted, so did the molding and rail next to it! We had a few minor flakes on the wall when I removed the tape( I used a cheap one instead of a painter's tape) but compared to the outcome we barely noticed them plus we have our leftover paint just for this sort of mess! It wouldn't feel though completed without some sort of decor. So, my beloved poster from The Small Stakes found its place right in this small built-in shelf along with some ikea vases I had hanging around.
Also, we manage to hang or screw most of our lighting and that took up the rest of our time but in a good way. It was worth it!

Stepping Stone

This is gonna be another looong weekend where we're gonna be working around the house. Hopefully, a lot will get done by the end of this weekend and we'll be a step closer to the move... Almost two months now, we're working on the house so that we can make it livable by the end of November. That's not to happen anymore, still I'm sooo excited because we're very close! Hard work means(in any possible way) make your dreams come true!

Well, you knew that already?

Twice last week I had the same talk. It seems that more and more see the potential behind a store like Zara Home. The quality is good the prize even better, so why not? People invest a lot of money in their homes but reusable stuff needs to be more affordable (without any compromise in design). It's sure fun to have more choices like this in the future.
