The amazing world of Kelsey Foster

kelseyfoster photography

Through her photographic lenses an amazing universe is fabricated. There’s a shared quality amongst her themes, there it be fashion or travel or portrait images. A fragile sensibility that transforms mundane subjects into works of art and dresses the world with a delicate symmetry. The images are serene, calming our frantic senses, in an instant, upon looking at them and the people she captures seem confident but also quiet. A quaint view of our constantly erratic lives.

Beauty is…this fashion illustration by Leigh Viner

Leigh Viner, a self taught artist, creates these rad illustrations out of her deep appreciation and love for fashion! Her pieces celebrate beauty all the way. The artworks are sensational yet powerful. She has a wide range of mediums varying from sketch to photography. The one showing here is a favorite of mine. If you like to see more, do pay a visit to her.

I think I need this...

Every now and then I'm drown to some darker pieces. I guess it's my need to make up for all the bright stuff I usually like. Somethin' wicked ain't but in small doses, my friend. It brings balance to life especially when is so darn well executed. You see, The Great Bear shop justifies this urge of mine to the bone with all its great prints laid upon my gaze like little gems waiting to hauntly glow inside my place.

Pretty witty seasprayblue

Ok, I have a thing for people who can create pretty and affordable art. Katrin Schwlust is definetely one of them! Genuine, interesting pieces of art. You put it on the wall and you will enjoy it for a long time. I like the colors and I like the motifs. Clearly she has an eye for it and a blooming imagination. Well to put it in another way, I would simply trust someone who says that inspiration comes the moment just before getting asleep! Her shop Seasprayblue over on etsy is really sweet and if you haven't visited her before it certainly worths a visit.

J'aime Jaime (Hayon)

Jaime Hayon created  this -indeed- spectacular new look for the restaurant "La Terraza del Casino" in Madrid, Spain. Just imagine having dinner there! So elegant and sophisticated beyond comparison. The place kept its original grandeur but a thin tread of modernism, appearing here and there, makes it irresistable. Jaime Hayon has worked next to Oliverio Toscani, best-known worldwide for designing controversial advertising campaigns for Italian brand Benetton, before spreading his own wings. Now he creates interiors for leading hotels and restaurants around the world. Jaime Haydon's work is part of a new movement of designers that blurred the lines between art, decoration and design and a renaissance in finely-crafted, intricate objects within the context of contemporary design culture.

Collage by Elisa Archer

As much as I enjoy looking at interiors I find the same joy in works of art. This lady in particular has a very gentle technique and she's using it to produce some spectacular collages depicting her desire for balance and beauty in everyday life. Her spirit is unifying and diverse. Various materials are incorporated into her work and visualise fragments of time and culture. Fragile creations of romantic notes and earthly tones. Nature and life prove to be an unlimited source and Elisa Archer is glorifying this notion. You can find her in her website Samba handmade goods and she's available for comissions, just email her!
